I served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Structural Mechanic, specializing in sheet metal fabrication involving rivets, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Through discipline and performance, I advanced to the rank of E-5 in just 3.5 years, demonstrating a strong commitment to precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

After completing my service, I pursued welding professionally at Trident Technical College in South Carolina, graduating with honors in Applied Science for Welding Technology. During my time there, I competed in the state welding competition, placing top three statewide, and earned multiple AWS scholarships for technical excellence.

While finishing my degree, I also worked in commercial diving and underwater welding, later graduating at the top of my class from the International Diving Institute in Charleston, SC. Following graduation, I went on to work as a Maintenance Technician for a Fortune 500 company, carrying forward the same standards of execution, reliability, and attention to detail instilled during my military service.

Today, that background shapes everything we do at Byrne Welding & Fabrication.
